Off to Lonelywood for a couple of side adventures.

Whoa little one! Slow down and say that again. Your brother is where?”
The Innkeeper is a retired mage, with a lot of interesting trinkets for sale.

Is it just me, or is Lonelywood the only place in Icewind Dale where you can get a “Royal” quality room at the inn?

A cozy place to relax during a frigid adventure.
Patrick thought, “no wonder the folks of Lonelywood are a little nervous!”
There was plenty of combat for Eriksen to enjoy…
We spent a couple of days in the blazing desert of Anauroch, battling Wyverns and other fearsome foes.
Then back to end the threat to Lonelywood. An ancient White Dragon named Icasaracht was the ultimate enemy.

And its back to Kuldahar to resolve their troubles…

This run has gone quite fast, even though I have been busy with life these last couple weeks. Expect to finish up in a few days, then a new BG run.

Not sure what all styles you used here, but some of these came out really awesome! The last one with the White Dragon looks great. Eriksen and the Skeleton strongly reminds me of some image I’ve seen before. Can’t place it, but but the look of that skeleton really feels familiar. Marcus’ outfit looks fantastic. But really all of these came out very well.

Thank you! It’s always fun getting the good results you want.

I should have said, back to Caldwell this time. The three fights obviously had more motion descriptors, and blur effects for Carmen and the Wyvern. This seemed to be a pretty easy bunch to get right too, just a lot of fun.

Sometimes a particular artist just works really well with a particular set of characters/campaign. I’m finding myself using Elmore a lot more this run than in previous ones – as well as Caldwell. Caldwell really gels well with Tiana and Bjorn in combat, and Elmore just seems to do Shea overall better than anyone else I try – particularly when she pulls out gadgets and such. I wouldn’t have predicted that before the run, but that’s just how it shakes out sometimes.

some of that makes perfect sense. For Aias’ and his colorful crew, Elmore was the way to go. For Astolpho’s team, I like the slightly grittier Caldwell.
