We returned to Ehlan, with the Rhynn Lanthorn they needed to locate their missing city.
This all went well and quickly, and no doubt the City of Suldanesselar was a sight to behold.

We entered the city, looking to help where we could, and save who we could.

Irenicus had unloaded a lot of hate on these elves. As we learned the story, he was no outsider. He was “The Exile”.
No doubt there was a tragic story. But here and now he needed to be stopped of the evils he was committing.
Chuck seemed determined but fine. I can’t measure what Irenicus took from him, but Chuck has seemed fine to me. We’ve been happy together. Imoen assures me this is important, but thankfully Chuck does not seem to be suffering in any way.
Soon enough we found our way to the Great Tree of Suldanesselar.

We stopped him, with massive force. But when he fell we were drawn to The Abyss after him.

We killed Irenicus again. This time, whatever piece of Chuck had been taken, returned to him. Just as Imoen had been restored when we slew Bohdi. In a rush, we returned to the Elven city.
And this part of our adventure was over.
