Our re-entry to Bodhi’s hideout, her crypt under the City of Athkatla led to a ferocious series of combats against a large number of vampires. We had arranged a couple of alliances, the famous Drow Ranger Drizzt joined with us, as did a number of Paladins from the Order of the Radiant Heart.

Drizzt I can’t tell you how honored I am to fight by your side.
I was on point from the start.
Follow me, this place isn’t too big, they can’t be far…
They weren’t.

About a dozen total on the upper level.

I expect Bodhi to be further in the depths.
After an ugly 20 minutes or so, it was over. When Bodhi herself fell, last, Imoen visibly relaxed.

In a moment she smiled. Whatever Irenicus had taken from her came back in rush. She was fine, we were all fine. Well, nothing the healers couldn’t fix. We also found the Lanthorn that the Elves were looking for.
We thanked and parted with our allies for this battle, and set out to return to the Castle. As we neared home, we met a messenger who brought news that Roenall troops had crossed into our lands.

I’d been keeping extra militia at the castle just for such a thing, so we set out at once to meet the intruders.

We were outnumbered in pure troops, but the six of us with Minsc and Nalia meant more elite troops than the Roenalls could contend with.

Lord Roenall your troops have already bled enough. I’m giving you one chance to leave here, and renounce all claims to this land, or I’ll spit you like a pig.

I don’t think he understood the metaphor. I demonstrated it. The Roenalls now have a minor power vacuum, but that’s not my worry.

We spent a day relaxing at the castle.

Hi Chuck, thanks for joining me.

My visual tour de force. That was fun.

Those Egyptian-style backdrops and vampires make for such a fun change of pace in BG2. Never quite realized how much so until starting the rendering projects. Sarah going down the tunnel with the torch especially brings that out. Really has that “descending into an unknown tomb” kind of feel. And the Bohdi battle is always fun to render. You can really cut loose with blurring effects and acrobatics with her. Got some good ones going above with Sarah and Bohdi.

Looks like you successfully got a decent number of bodies in the background with Imoen and Bohdi. Been fighting a bit with that myself today – with varying luck. Usually end up with “sleeping injured” and the like to cheat unless its skeletons. And skeletons have a tendency to get up and walk around…

Roenall looks quite believable – if in my head I always make him more inherently “punchable”. He’s just *such* a tool.

Looks like Copilot Pro is still giving you rectangular images? I wonder why my Pro account went square but yours did not… I did spend a lot of time trying to *make* it square months ago. Maybe whatever they changed/fixed just made it start paying attention to the settings I was tweaking.

Yeah you got me all excited about a change, that I never saw!

I had so much fun here, I wanted to keep adding images because I thought they looked great! And for once a description (“ornate and colorful ancient Egyptian crypt”) was giving similar results on Co-Pilot and OpenArt (except it was harder to get it *dark* in OpenArt). On a lot of these I had both going simultaneously on similar prompts to see what they could do.

I just got lucky with extra bodies in the one scene. I knew that was keeper, in spite of the too upright “Bohdi”.

They wrote the Roenall attack very well, so you’ll want to destroy the guy.
