A few alternate images of the Halfling twins as they head out on their adventure.
I really considered this version of Saffron. I like the chubbier cheeks! But the other portrait seemed more dynamic.Depicting two halflings proved to be difficult! This was my favorite of the bunch. They are young and ready to go! Beryl is more serious and astute, Saffron laughs at everything! I dislike that their armor is the same (I’d said “Chain Mail” for Beryl and “Scale Mail” for Saffron). And why did Saffron end up with a shield? The difference in gear is about ideal here. But the girls are too much alike! What happened to Saffron’s shorter hair?Wow they look young here! Both have the same smile, and Beryl is using a sword?A very early attempt. But its more like a Disney style. I don’t know why, my first style cue is “realistic photo”. The AI often decides to ignore random elements. Also, on this one I just said “sisters” not “twins”, but this was the only one with that descriptor where they didn’t look far apart in age. Really a shame, a lot I like in this one, but they seem ready to start singing “Hi Ho, Hi Ho”!
A fun little project. I will dink around with this some more I think. I’d like to get the characters more into action. But halflings remain tough. The AI wants to depict *way too* childish, either too different or too similar in size and features. And way too cartoony, I like more realistic looks.
Yep. Two characters is hard, and usually takes a lot of repeats to get what I want. Halflings are also hard. Other than the style not being what you want that last one looks pretty good. You might try “realistic photo style” or something just to hammer that home. You could also move that up to first in the list, to cement the style you want.
But overall, yeah. More of an “Art” than a “Science” still. π
